i have been sick most of this week but i feel better now. Tuesday was fun doing are science and p.e and i cant wait for volleyball tomorrow on Friday. its going to be Awesome!

this is my first week back because i have been at Somers camp but t has been a great week. i enjoyed bat-tennis in p.e. it was really fun. we also had regional Volleyball training so our team is getting the hang of volleyball again. we play at Baimbridge college in Hamilton for regional volleyball. in inquiry we have been focusing on federation throughout this week. we had to write a rap about federation and Paddy, Jay and i are enjoying publishing our rap on garage band. we are happy with how we worked as a team and always shared our ideas with each other to make our rap better. we are presenting it today in front of the class. i’m am enjoying inquiry and it has been really fun

this week at science week we had to figure out different objects that would sink or float. my partner was a boy named max, from prep. together we decided that most of them would sink and some of them would float. we both did really well together and only got 3 wrong! our next challenge was to make a boat out of tin foil and see how many marbles it could hold. ours held 12 before it sank but our boat was fantastic! it was super fun.

MY BEHAVIOUR GOAL THIS TERM IS TO WORK WITH OTHER STUDENTS I DON’T USUALLY WORK WITH IN ALL MY CLASSES. I CAN DO THIS BY VOLUNTEERING TO WORK WITH OTHERS THAN MY FRIENDS.

MY WRITING GOAL FOR THIS TERM IS TO WRITE FLUENTLY AND USE GRAMMAR CORRECTLY. I CAN DO THIS BY ASKING THE TEACHER TO GET THE CORRECT WAY.

MY MATHS GOAL FOR THIS TERM IS TO GET BETTER AT DETERMINING WHERE FRACTIONS ARE ON A LINE FROM 0 TO A CERTAIN NUMBER. I CAN DO THIS BY USING DIFFERENT STRATEGIES TO FIND OUT WHERE IT IS.

MY READING GOAL THIS TERM IS TO USE READING STRATEGIES TO IDENTIFY THE AUTHORS PURPOSE. I CAN DO THIS BY LOOKING AT THE STRATEGIES THE AUTHORS USES AND THE WAY THE AUTHOR WRITES THE BOOK.

MY INQUIRY GOAL IS TO USE MY TIME WISELY AND PORTRAY THE ARTS DO DISCOVER MORE ABOUT THE ARTS. I CAN DO THIS BY DOING RESEARCH AND USING INFORMATION FROM CLASS.

MY SPECIALIST GOAL IS TO TRY OUT FOR EVERY SPORTS TEAM AND ALWAYS STAY CONFIDENT WITH MYSELF. I CAN DO THIS BY STAYING CONFIDENT AND REACHING MY PERSONAL BEST

some success’ ive had this term are doing assemblies well and making the tee-ball team. those are probably my favorite success’ this term. 2 challenges have been maths tasks with the monash university studies which where fun but pretty hard. another challenge has been reading the whole call me ishmael book in reading. this week we had interschool teeball. it was super fun. we came second by .44 to make the nexrt stage we did well but it was a great try but all the boys.

yesterday on the 19 of June we had the last Warrnambool east Tee-Ball tryouts. I was automatically in since i was in last year but all my other team mates did really well to get in to the team. The hard part was that only 1 person had to miss out! It was Buster King but he did really well to come this far and even try to participate. The Tee-Ball inter-school competition is on the 26th of June. We should be super trained by then and hopefully bring home the trophy. I am very confident that we will do well and I am sure Im not the only one in the team that has confidence in the team. we are taking 12 people which means 3 will be on the bench each game but the good things is that we dont miss out and have a bye on any games so we play all the games. we are all good at our own special things so some of us are good batters and others are great fielders with balances out the team perfectly.

This week i was chosen to write the script for “play it again”. this is a great opportunity for me to express myself as a writer. 3 people are chosen from each school (merrivale, port fairy consolidated and Warrnambool east primary school. there are so many other parts but im glad i chose this one
